Abstract: This article examines the cycle «Acoustic and Spatial Mirages» by the contemporary Moscow composer Olga Bochikhina, whose work has not yet been widely studied in musicology.
Various aspects of the cycle are explored. The author’s statements from her articles and interviews are included. The composition’s auditory and visual plans are aligned with the composer’s theoretical developments.
