Abstract: The article is focused on the multifaceted personality of M. V. Yudina. Different aspects of the pianist’s life and work are discussed. The special significance of the Culture of the Silver Age in shaping her personality is marked, along with the exceptional role of J. S. Bach in Yudina’s life. Such spheres as performing activity, the specificity of her repertoire, and unique interpretational features are covered. Yudina’s educational and enlightening activity is highlighted, that is, the establishment of lectures-concerts and a special form of performing concerts as dialogues with the audience. A. F. Kuznetsov’s classification of Yudina’s performing work is included in the article. Keywords: M. V.
